I have seen so many friendships collapse or go wrong that I want to deal with this topic in the article and I want to mention a few things that destroy friendship. I am sure that most of us cherish relationships with our friends and have no intentions of destroying them. However, very often we forget that some of our character features and behavior kills our ties even with our best friends. So, we need to be very careful about them and do everything in our efforts to get rid of those things.
Gossip is the first thing that I would encourage you to consider as a major obstacle to your relationship with your best friends. You cannot just talk bad things about your friend behind his back and expect that this will not have any consequences. It will have the most negative results and you will most probably regret that when you see your relationship with your friend falling apart.
Competing with your friend can also cause serious problems to your relationship.
You have to be happy when your friend succeeds and never envy him/her. His luck is your luck and that is how you have to see it. You will be very happy when your friend will respond in the same way to your luck as you responded to his. You can compete with a friend of yours when you are playing some game or doing something short term, but do not allow the attitude of competition to enter your daily relationship for competitors hardly ever stay friends for a long time.Being unreliable is the last point which I wanted to mention as possible thing that could threaten a relationship between you and your friend. You have to be a man of your word. If you said something, that has to be settled. Do not change it! If you do, people and your friends will not trust you anymore and you can lose ties with your friends sooner rather than later!
